ImageWhat to Do
Wear loose, comfortable clothing and shoes that slide on and off to the Surgery Center. Leave all jewelry at home and do not wear make-up or nail polish. Also, do not wear contact lenses. Wear your glasses instead.

Be sure to follow instructions provided by the Surgery Center staff regarding eating, drinking, or taking medications prior to your procedure.

What to Bring
Bring the following items to Meadows Surgery Center:
  • Insurance card
  • Photo ID
  • Patient folder and information
  • Money for post operative medications you may need to purchase
  • Blanket and pillow for the ride home
  • Children undergoing a procedure should bring their favorite blanket, stuffed animal or toy. A sippy cup or bottle may also be helpful for after the procedure.

When to Arrive

Expect to arrive one to two hours before the procedure is scheduled. On average, most patients are at the Surgery Center for two to four hours. This includes the time preparing for the surgery, surgery, and your recovery from surgery.


Checking In at Meadows Surgery Center

Check in for your procedure at Meadows Surgery Center Reception Desk .

A nurse will then bring you in and while preparing you for your procedure he/she will also explain what to expect during your stay. An anesthesiologist and your surgeon will visit you in the pre-op area before taking you to surgery.
