Dr. Benson is an otolaryngologist, specializing in surgical treatment of head and neck benign and malignant tumors including skin cancer, including complex reconstruction of defects, salivary gland tumors, sinus tumors, skull base tumors, oral cavity, oropharyngeal and laryngeal tumors.
Dr. Benson received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and continued his training in Otolaryngology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey Medical School (UMDNJ). He then returned to Columbia University for a laryngology fellowship where he received additional training in neurolaryngology, minimally-invasive laryngeal cancer surgery, swallowing disorders and care of the professional voice.
Dr. Benson is board-certified in otolaryngology by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
